This is another Mexican patchwork that will become an original decoration of your kitchen or bathroom; all you need is a bit of creativity and imagination to add an individual character to the interior. Talavera tiles are not perfectly identical and that is their charm. The glaze may show signs of small cracks caused during firing, and the patterns may differ slightly. The tiles are resistant to abrasion and even with deeper scratches, the pattern is still visible because the individual colors are included in the glazing. Each tile is first covered with a primer - the base color, and then each pattern color is applied separately. After firing, the tiles obtain their final color and extraordinary resistance.
