A set of multicolored wall decors made of handmade Mexican Talavera tiles delights with its richness of patterns and colors. In this case, we tried to select and create a patchwork in which yellow and red colors predominate. Thirty different patterns include sunflower motifs, multi-colored rosettes, mandalas and ornaments. Our new Mexican patchwork will be an original decoration of your kitchen or bathroom; all you need is a bit of creativity and imagination to give your interior an individual character. Talavera tiles are not perfectly identical and that is their charm. The glaze may show signs of small cracks caused by firing, and the patterns may differ slightly because they are created by different artists. The tiles are resistant to abrasion and even with deeper scratches, the pattern is still visible because the individual colors are included in the glazing. Each tile is first covered with a primer - the base color, and then each pattern color is applied separately. After firing, the tiles obtain their final color and extraordinary resistance.
