This is another Mexican set that will become an original decoration for your kitchen or bathroom, all it takes is a little creativity and imagination to give your interiors an individual touch with its use.
Talavera tiles are not perfectly identical and that is their charm. The glaze may show small cracks during firing and the patterns may vary slightly.
The tiles are abrasion resistant and even with deeper scratches the pattern is still visible, as the individual colours are contained within the glazing. Each tile is first coated with a primer - a base colour - and then each pattern colour is applied separately. After firing, the tiles obtain their final colour, as well as their extraordinary resistance.
